About Us

Hi,

We're mother and daughter duo Elizabeth and Geri Green

We started teaching piano lessons in Sydney through the Prima Piano studio in 2017 after we saw a need to update the traditional methods of learning piano to make learning relevant for the modern student.

After teaching privately for over 40 years and nearly 20 years respectively - and in the SAME studio space in Sydney's CBD - we finally decided to bring our individual skill sets and unique expertise together to develop the Prima Piano teaching approach.

Passing on the Knowledge

We're also dedicated to passing our knowledge onto other teachers who share our philosophy.

The Right Teacher For You

We know you want to make sure you get the right teacher. One who’s not just qualified but who also “gets” you and can help you to truly engage with music.

Our teachers will prioritise relationship building from the first lesson, because we know that without a good teacher/student connection progress will be very hard.

Our teachers will carefully assess your strengths and interests, because we believe that when we support your passions and your unique abilities you’re much more willing to do the hard work that’s needed to reach your goals.
